Princeville and Princeton Football Players Invited to Play in Illinois High School Shrine Football Game

The IHSA has announced the names of Illinois High School Football players who’ve been invited to play in the 47th Annual Illinois High School Shrine Football game on June 19th at Tucci Stadium on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University. Peyton Garcia of Princeville and Grant Foes of Princeton have been invited to play on Team Red at this year’s game which benefits Shriner’s Hospital while also throwing a spotlight on some of the best Football talent in the state of Illinois. Peyton Garcia has been a 3 year starter for Princeville High School, LTC 1st all-conference OL/DL two years, 1st Team all state 2 years. Grant Foes was named to the First Team Illinois High School Football Coaches Association as an OL/DL.

Kick-off for the 47th annual game is scheduled for Saturday, June 19th at 11:00a.m. The pregame festivities will begin at the stadium starting at 10am. One hundred six of the state’s best football players participate in this all-star game to raise money for Shriners Hospital for Children, the official philanthropy of Shriners International.
