Kewanee Bowlers Defeat Ottawa in High Scoring Night

On Wednesday, Jan 12, the Ottawa Pirates made a trip to Pin Splitter lanes to compete in a varsity match against Kewanee High School. The Kewanee Bowlers have been doing well and their streak of wins continued. Both teams bowled well and the competition was fierce as every closed frame counted. At the end of the 3 round match, the final pinfall was
Ottawa 2836 pins
Kewanee- 2889 pins

Both teams set some high standards with individual games.
From Ottawa
Jazzmyn Deford threw a 199 high game.
McKenzie Lewis followed close behind with a 182.
From Kewanee
Mya Mirocha threw the highest of the night with a 210.
Aspen Schwickerath also threw a 200+ game with a 203.

The hIgh 3 series for the two teams was excellent.
For Ottawa, McKenzie Lewis had a total of 527 pins clear the playing field.
For Kewanee, Mya Mirocha owned her lanes by taking down 557 pins.
