A and W’s Jacob Cathelyn was the lowest scorer of the day at the golf triangular hosted by Mid-County at Oak Run Golf Course on Thursday. By the numbers, Cathelyn shot a round of 41 besting teammate Austin Peck who had the second best score of the day at 43 and Mid-County’s Kaden Willer who had the third best score of the day among the boys at 44. West Central’s Connor Gibb was his school’s best scorer of the day at 57. Team scores saw the A & W Boys score 181, Mid County second with 187 and West Central 257,
On the girls side of the greens, Elaina Fisher of West Central was the standout with a 9 hole score of 45 beating out Mid-County’s Faith Erlacher in second place with 49. The A & W girls struggled led by Chloe Liichow who had a team best 62. The overall Girls Team competition went to West Central with a score of 202 followed by Mid County with 227 and A & W with 246.
