Hancock County Sheriff Scott Bentzinger reports the following arrests for the week of August 17th, 2020
through August 23rd, 2020
08/17/20
Frank H Ellis, age 27, of Nauvoo, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on original charges of Contributing to the Delinquency. Ellis was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
Kari A Bank, age 31, of Keokuk, IA was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear / Failure to Pay on original charges of Criminal Damage to Property. Bank was released after given a deferred payment and a future court date.
David L Hiland, age 51, of Augusta, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Count 1 Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault, Count 2 Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault, Count 3 Criminal Sexual Assault, and Count 4 Criminal Sexual Assault. Hiland remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting his next court appearance.
Austin J Husted, age 24, of Stillwell, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear / Failure to Pay on original charges of Driving While License Suspended and Theft. Husted was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.

Andreas H Barrales, age 51, of Carthage, IL was arrested on a Indian River County, FL Warrant charging him with Driving Under the Influence Manslaughter, Driving While License Revoked – Permanently Revoked, and Driving Under the Influence – Impairment. Barrales remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting extradition to Florida.

Richard D Moulton, age 35, of St. Mary’s, IL was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery. Moulton remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting his next court appearance.
Tyler L Creasy, age 33, of Plymouth, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear / Failure to Pay on original charges of Aggravated Domestic Battery. Creasy was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.

Simon L Cross, age 41, of Bowen, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on original charges of Criminal Trespass to Real
Property, Improper Use of Registration / Title, Operation of Uninsured Vehicle and Driving While License Revoked. Cross was given a Notice to Appear at a future court date.
Shawn D Randall, age 37, of Loraine, IL was arrested and charged with No Valid Driver’s License. Randall was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.

Emma L Burkholder, age 18, of Keokuk, IA was arrested and charged with Resisting. Burkholder remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting her next court appearance.
Natasha A Young, age 33, of Fort Madison, IA was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. Young was released on her own recognizance and given a future court date.
Ethan J Walte, age 18, of Keokuk, IA was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs and Fleeing and Eluding. Walte was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
Joshua P Vantiger, age 36, of Pontoosuc, IL was arrested and charged with Aggravated Driving Under the Influence, No Valid Driver’s License, and Obstructing Justice. Vantiger remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting his next court appearance.

Joshua L Lafary, age 40, of Ipava, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on original charges of Domestic Battery and Aggravated Assault. Lafary remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting his next court appearance.

Dakota S Reed, age 25, of Kahoka, MO was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. Reed was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
