Illinois State Police Report

Chase L. Meyers, 21, of Sterling, was stopped for improper lane usage on Saturday, September 18th, at 1:07a.m., on Avenue G at Miller Street in Sterling and was charged with driving under the
influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, no insurance, no valid registration, and improper lane usage. Meyers was released on an I-bond.

Candelaria Rodriguez, 43, of Dekalb, was stopped for following too closely on September 18th, at 5:30 p.m., on IL Route 64 at Woodlawn Road in Ogle County and was charged with driving while license suspended and no insurance. Rodriguez was released on an I-bond.

The Illinois State Police stopped to assist a motorist on Sunday, September 19th, at 12:10 a.m., on Timber Road at Zier Road in Carroll County. Timothy M. West, 29, of Savanna, was charged with driving while license suspended and unlawful transportation of alcohol. West was released on an I-bond.

Lucas N. Vasquez, 31, of Sterling, was stopped for improper lane usage on September 19th, at 1:49a.m. on 1st Avenue at US Route 30 in Rock Falls and was charged with driving while license suspended and improper lane usage. Vasquez was released on an I-bond.

Taizen S. Bell, 22, of Dixon, was stopped for a registration violation on September 19th, at 1:51 a.m., on Rock Island Road at Bollman Road in Lee County and was wanted on a Lee County warrant for failure to appear. Bell posted 10% of the $1,000 bond and was released.

Sergio Revuleta-Diaz, 39, of Chicago, was stopped for improper lane usage on September 19th, at 1:59 a.m., on IL Route 251 at Standard Oil Road in Rochelle and was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, failure to signal when required, no insurance, and operating a motor vehicle while using an electronic device. Revuleta-Diaz was released on an I-bond.

Edward B. Smith, 37, of Rock Falls, was stopped for improper lane usage on September 19th, at 9:13p.m., on US Route 30 at 4th Avenue in Rock Falls and was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage, no valid registration, and driver’s license not on person. Smith was released on an I-bond. A passenger in the vehicle, Christine A. Castillio, 50, of Rock Falls, was wanted on a Lee County warrant for contempt of court. Castillio was transported to Lee County Jail.

The Illinois State Police stopped to assist a motorist on  Monday, September 20th, at 7:07 p.m., on Interstate 39 northbound at milepost 92.5 in Lee County. Eddie M. Lawrence, 56, of Stoutland, MO, was charged with driving while license suspended and CDL not obtained. Lawrence was released on an I-bond.
