Teenage Girl Abducted from Peru Illinois

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has put out a press release regarding a teenage female abducted from Peru, Illinois. According to the FBI information, the abduction occurred at approximately 5:05 Am on Monday, June 14th. The female victim appeared to witnesses to be between 14 and 16 years of age. Witnesses indicate 2 male suspects forcing the girl into a white pick up truck. There is no indication of the direction the subjects were headed in and thus far, the FBI or Peru, Illinois Police Department have not identified the victim. Be on the look out for a white pick up truck with two men and a teenage girl. They left Peru, Illinois this morning at just after 5 Am after the two men forced the teenager into their vehicle.

At approximately 5:05 a.m. this morning, law enforcement was informed of a juvenile kidnapping:
Victim: Approx. 14-16 year old female
Location: Near the intersection of Plum and 7th St., Peru, IL
Vehicle: White pick-up truck with a topper.
Additional details:
Multiple witnesses reported 2 men forcing the victim into the vehicle and screaming or yelling.
The FBI is providing investigative assistance to lead investigative agency Peru Police Department.
