Wethersfield Elementary Announces Stationary Parade

The bond between teachers and students is strong and with school suspended, it’s been hard on everyone. To bring a little joy and connection, Wethersfield Schools have hatched a unique plan. On Thursday evening, from 5 Pm to 6 Pm. Teachers from Wethersfield Elementary will be parked in their vehicles along Willard Street and Garfield Street. Parents are encouraged to drive by with their kids and wave to their teachers. Meanwhile, Wethersfield Schools are working on school at home programs for the kids that could have kids learning online with their teacher in the next week. Superintendent Shane Kazubowski tells WKEI that the school district is working on plan at this time. Once the plan is ready to implement, it will be released to everyone.
