Village of Neponset Suggests Mental Health Resources as Part of COVID-19 Response

The Village of Neponset has included mental health resources as part of their outreach efforts regarding COVID-19. In a release from the Village of Neponset, city leaders suggested resources for people to care for their mental health due to the stress of Sheltering at Home and the Coronavirus. Among the suggestions are tele-health services such as that offered by the Arukah Institute which offers low cost services with youth and adult counselors available. The Arukah Institute is available at 815-872-2943. Another suggestion is North Central Behavioral Health which accepts Medicare payments. NCBH can be reached at 815-875-4458. There is also the Illinois Warmline, a free service offering emotional support services from 8 Am to 5 Pm Weekdays. Anyone in need of someone to offer emotional support can call the Warmline at 1-866-359-7953.
