That brings the total number of cases in Henry County to 94. That is up 13 cases in seven days across the county. Stark County remains at 3 cases. Recovery Rate Data from the Henry County Health Department still indicates that the majority of COVID-19 patients in Henry County are in the category of Symptoms Resolved which is the closest categorization to fully recovered from COVID-19. 57 Henry County patients are in the Symptoms Resolved category. 1 Person, a woman in her 50’s, has died from COVID-19.
Statewide totals from the Illinois Department of Public Health confirmed 828 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 as well as an additional 30 people who had died from COVID-19. Overall totals since the beginning of the pandemic 144,013 confirmed cases. Of that number, 6,951 people in Illinois have died from COVID-19. The recovery rate in Illinois remains at 94%. The seven day rate of infection for the time period of June 24th to June 30th, the percentage of the number of tests conducted in that seven day period that return positive for COVID-19 remains at 2.6%. This number is vital as it indicates how potent cases are within the state and would be a strong indicator if the state of Illinois were to begin to see a spike in cases.
