Still No Progress in the Search for Two Subjects in Princeton Shooting

It’s been six days since a shooting took the life of Caleb Conrath of Princeton and there is still no word on the location of the persons of interest in the case. On July 1st, two subjects, one identified by Princeton Police as 18 year old Davijon Robinson of Kewanee, and the other an unnamed male juvenile, were spotted fleeing the area of the Hillview Trailer Park in Princeton in a black Nissan Altima in the moments after the shooting. That same vehicle was spotted that same day in Kewanee where it was abandoned by two subjects who fled into the woods. Those two subjects were then spotted by witnesses in the area of East 11th and Kent in Kewanee. From that point on, no one has been able to locate the two, one of whom, Robinson, has a warrant out for his arrest on unspecified charges related to the shooting. If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Davijon Robinson or the male juvenile subject believed to have been with Robinson on the day of the shooting, you are asked to contact the Princeton Police Department 815-872-2351 or Bureau County Crime Stoppers at 800-939-6929. There is a reward of up to $1000 for tips leading to the arrest of Robinson. All callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous. The GoFundMe campaign raising money for Caleb Conrath’s Memorial and for the medical expenses for his mother, Tasha Hilmes, was injured in the shooting, is ongoing.
