State Senator Chuck Weaver Touting Alternative to $15.00 Minimum Wage

State Senator Chuck Weaver is putting forward a bill to address what he sees as inequities in the state minimum wage requirements. State Senator Weaver's bill allows for Governor Pritzker to remain in favor of the $15.00 minimum wage while recognizing that local governments have a better handle on what their local economy recognizes as a living wage…

Right now, State Senator Weaver's bill is being introduced and there is no word on whether or not it will move forward in the Senate.
