State Senator Anderson Files Bill to Repeal FOID Card

On Wednesday, State Senator Neil Anderson filed a bill that intends to repeal the FOID card, or Firearm Owners ID Card. Senator Anderson spoke with reporter Ray Watt for this story…

Senator Anderson offerred further thoughts to reporters later on Wednesday reiterating his point about what he considers needless, burdensome and unconstitional amounts of hoops that Illinois gun owners must jump through to exercise their constitutional rights…

Senator Anderson went on to talk about what the FOID card does not do…

State Senator Neil Anderson's bill has an uphill battle heading to committee and then getting through to the Democrat controlled Senate to the floor for a vote.
