State Representative Dan Swanson To Hold Meetings With Farmers in Three Counties in One Day

State Representative Dan Swanson is set to meet with farmers across the 74th District in three meetings in a single day to discuss farmland assessments. The ambitious tour was announced by State Representative Swanson on Wednesday when he spoke to reporters and addressed concerns from farmers over an increase in farm assessments related to the 2012 Farmland Assessment Act… 

 

All three meetings will be on Monday, March 2, 2020 with help and support from the Henry, Bureau and Knox County Farm Bureaus. You do not have to be a resident of the county to attend as the Farmland Assessment affects all farmers. Meetings will be held… 

 

8:30am-10:30am  (Knox) Carl Sandburg College, 2400 Tom L. Wilson Blvd., Galesburg

2:00pm-4:00pm    (Bureau) Bureau County Metro Center, 837 Park Avenue West, Princeton

5:30pm-7:30pm    (Henry) Black Hawk East Auditorium, 26230 Black Hawk Rd., Galva
