Hundreds of thousands of people turn out for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Chicago and as of now the marchers will go on. The parade along with the dying of the Chicago River is set for March 14th. The organizers say on their website that anyone who isn’t feeling well or has a fever should stay home.
The Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Public Health says they have been talking about the parade and other big public events. Allison Arwardy says anyone who is older with an underlying health condition should avoid big crowds.
Parades in Boston and throughout Ireland have been put on hold for St. Patrick’s’ Day.
