Seven New Cases of COVID-19 in Henry County Since Friday

The number of COVID-19 positive tests in Henry County went up from 47 on Friday to 54 as of  Sunday afternoon. That according to numbers from the Henry and Stark County Health Department. Stark County still has only 1 confirmed case. Statewide numbers also grew over the weekend. On Sunday afternoon, Governor J.B Pritzker announced 2,994 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19. The Governor then announced that 63 more people had died from COVID-19. That brings the totals since the start of the pandemic in Illinois to 61,499 confirmed cases. 2,616 people have died from COVID-19 in Illinois alone. The virus has been diagnosed in 97 counties.
