
20 performers have been selected for 4 days worth of virtual concerts beginning this weekend. Play it Forward is an initiative of the Galva Arts Council, Heartland Connections, and the Bishop Hill Creative Commons with a grant from the Galesburg Community Foundation. Concerts will be streamed live from the Heartland Connections Facebook page and YouTube channel. Organizers of the campaign are asking community members to send videos of ways music is helping you at this time or has helped you during challenging times in the past, inspiring stories from the community, and messages of hope. Videos submitted will be shown at breaks between artists during the live streams.
