Play it Forward Announces 20 Performer Lineup for Virtual Concerts

20 performers have been selected for 4 days worth of virtual concerts beginning this weekend. Play it Forward is an initiative of the Galva Arts Council, Heartland Connections, and the Bishop Hill Creative Commons with a grant from the Galesburg Community Foundation. Virtual concerts will be held on Saturday, May 23rd, Sunday, May 24th and again on Saturday, May 30th and Sunday, May 31st, and the lineup of local artists was officially revealed on Tuesday…

Concerts will be streamed live from the Heartland Connections Facebook page and YouTube channel. Organizers of the campaign are asking community members to send videos of ways music is helping you at this time or has helped you during challenging times in the past, inspiring stories from the community, and messages of hope. Videos submitted will be shown at breaks between artists during the live streams.
