Moline Police and Crimestoppers Pursuing High Risk Suspect

East Moline Police are seeking tips to the location of a high risk suspect. According to East Moline Police, Moline Police executed a warrant for the arrest of 25 year old Lamont Lamar Williams on Wednesday. Unfortunately, Williams was not present at the location in the 1800 Block of 5th Street in Moline. 

Williams is wanted for the murder of 25 year old Demetrius Tucker of East Moline.According to Crimestoppers of the Quad Cities, Moline Police executed a warrant, obtained by East Moline Police, at a residence in Moline on Wednesday. Officers intended to arrest Lamont Lamar Williams of Rock Island. East Moline Police intend to Williams for the murder of 25 year old Demetrius Tucker of East Moline.

Williams has an active warrant for First Degree Murder. Williams was not located in the search of the residence in the area of the 1800 Block of 15th Street in Moline. In an effort to get more tips on the location of Williams, Crimestoppers of the Quad Cities is offering a new, even larger reward.

A tip that leads to the arrest of Lamont Lamar Williams will earn a $2500.00 reward. This is part of a new gun crime initiative of Crimestoppers of the Quad Cities. Under these new guidelines, Crimestoppers will offer a $2500.00 reward in cases involving gun crimes. Assisting with East Moline was the Moline Police Department, Illinois State Police and the Quad Cities Federal Gang Task Force. Armored vehicles were provided by the Rock Island Sheriff’s Department and Bettendorf Police.
