Kewanee Public Library STEM Program Now on YouTube

If you want to give the kids something to do today, the Kewanee Public Library has something in store, via YouTube. The new Kewanee Library YouTube channel debuted just two weeks ago. Today, the channel will be launching a pair of new live video experiences. One of those the library STEM program, an interactive learning program where today, kids can learn about and create their own air powered cars. Kids who are enrolled in the Kewanee Public Library Summer Reading Program are invited to pick up their very own air powered car kit. Then, this morning, kids can go to the Kewanee Public Library YouTube page for a demonstration on assembly and testing of their very own air powered car. If your child is not signed up for the Summer Reading Program and would like to participate in this STEM demonstration, there is still time. Contact the Kewanee Public Library at KewaneeLibrary.org. Also on the Kewanee Public Library YouTube page, younger children can find online story time. Today, a member of the library staff will be reading What the Dinosaurs Did Last today starting at 11:15 Am, live on the Kewanee Public Library YouTube channel.
