How Covid-19 is Affecting International Travel Plans To and From the United States

Thousands of travelers come to Chicago every day from all over the globe via O’Hare airport. For weeks now the Federal Government has been monitoring the health of passengers coming in from abroad. Alicia Tate-Nadeau, the Director of the Illinois Emergency Management Agency, says as a fifth case of COVID-19 in Illinois is tied to a person coming home from Italy you should make educated decisions about upcoming international travel.

Tate-Nadeau says IEMA was in contact with more than 50 other state agencies and mutual aid partners about current response plans.
