Henry and Stark County Health Department to Hold Walk-In Hours for COVID Testing and Vaccinations

Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Henry and Stark County Health Department those who are seeking a COVID-19 test or seeking to get the COVID-19 vaccination can do so on a walk-in basis. The Henry and Stark County Health Department on Thursday announced that the First Choice Health Clinic will have walk-in testing and vaccination services on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning next Tuesday, January 18th. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 Am to 4 Pm are the only times when Walk-In visits will be available.

Both “Symptomatic” and “Asymptomatic” Covid Testing will be available only on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Residents wanting to participate in this Testing & Vaccination site should remember that appointments are not being taken. Simply come to the location during the service days and hours and the Health Department staff will be able to assist them. However, for those seeking “Symptomatic Testing,” on other days of the week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday); you should call your healthcare provider or you can schedule an appointment with the Health Department’s First Choice Healthcare Kewanee Provider by calling (309) 852-5272.

COVID-19 vaccinations will also be available Tuesdays and Thursdays on a walk-in basis. The Henry and Stark County Health Department will provide vaccination for those in need of a first shot, a second shot or a booster shot during these walk-in clinic hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
