Henry and Stark County Health Department Announces One New Case of COVID-19

On Thursday afternoon, the Henry and Stark County Health Department announced one new case of COVID-19. According to the Health Department that makes 95 confirmed cases of COVID-19. 1 person has died from COVID-19 in Henry County. Most people with COVID-19 in Henry County are in the symptoms resolved category. Stark County remains at 3 confirmed cases. Statewide, the Illinois Department of Public Health announced 869 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19. The IDPH also announced that 36 more people had died from COVID-19 across the state. That brings the overall total of COVID-19 cases to 144,882 confirmed cases. Of that number, 6,987 people have died from COVID-19. The recovery rate remains at 94% statewide while the seven day rate of infection, accounting for the timeframe of June 25th to July, remained at 2.6% of tests administered turning out positive.
