Galva Makes A Hard Choice to Keep Ambulance Service

The City of Galva City Council met on Monday night. Following social distancing guidelines, Council members held the meeting in order to make a very hard decision regarding the City ambulance service. Facing a 131% increase in the cost of ambulance services, the Council made the difficult decision to impose a $10.00 fee attached to the City water bills for all residents. We talked with the Mayor about this difficult decision as well as the City of Galva response to COVID-19 on People to People on Tuesday.
