The family of woman under quarantine in St. Louis who tested positive for COVID-19 did not remain at home after being told to do so. Sam Page the St. Louis County Executive, says two members of the family didn’t follow guidance to stay put. Page, a medical doctor, says the patient has been following the rules, but her father and her sister both left the house on Saturday and went to a father daughter dance at a school in St. Louis. Page says if the family won’t stay in their home moving forward, steps will be taken to keep them inside.
The County says they had daily contact with the family beginning March 5th and it was clear to them that they were to to remain at home. He says they will “paying attention” to the family moving forward.
