City of Kewanee Calling for Proposals for Operation of City Animal Control Facility

The City of Kewanee is requesting proposals from parties interested in and capable of Operating and Maintaining the City of Kewanee Animal Control Facility. According to Kewanee Police Chief Nicholas Welgat, proposals are due by May 5th, 2021, at 2 Pm. Sealed bids will be read that time and published on the City of Kewanee website soon after. Bidding packets can be obtained now at CityofKewanee.com under the Bid Postings tab. The call is out for a project contract of 3 years with an option for 2 more years at the City of Kewanee’s approval.
