Black Hawk College Receives More than 2 Million Dollars in College Aid from Federal Fund

Black Hawk College was among a group of West-Central Illinois schools to receive funding from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund. According to a release from Representative Cheri Bustos, who announced the awards on Thursday, Black Hawk College, East and West Campus, will receive $2,172,992.00 in financial relief from the Federal Government. A full breakdown of what colleges received what amount of support is listed below. Colleges across the nation have been closed to in-person learning since late March. That was not going to change in Illinois as Governor Pritzker has ordered them to remain closed at least through the end of May with his latest Stay at Home proclamation.
