Princeton Public Library Announces Blood Drive Results and Extended Closure

Princeton Public Library is thanking everyone who participated in the blood drive that was held at the library on Tuesday.
Library officials say the drive with Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center was a success.  They had 36 donors and collected 35 units of blood, far surpassing their goal of 14 units.  Of the 35 units collected, 18 came from first time donors.  They drew people from all over the area, including Princeton, Wyanet, Arlington, Buda, LaMoille, Galesburg, Putnam, and Walnut.
The library also announces they will be closed through the month of May to follow Governor Pritzker’s extension of the stay-at-home order.
