La Salle Parks Closed To Help Reduce Spread of Coronavirus

All City of La Salle parks are closing to slow the spread of the Coronavirus.  The announcement was made on Tuesday by Mayor Jeff Grove, who says the closings coincide with the governor’s extended stay-at-home mandate.  This includes Hegeler Park, Rotary Park, Prairie Park, Pulaski Park and other neighborhood parks.  Grove says any adults who enter the park will be ticketed, as will parents of children in the parks.  Grove says the closing of the parks begins today and is scheduled through April 30.
