La Salle County now has its third confirmed case of COVID-19. It was announced on Monday that she’s a woman in her 30’s and is recovering at home. Her name and town have not been released. Unlike the first two cases in La Salle County, it’s believed the woman had traveled to a known area of high exposure. Late last week, a Seneca High School student became the county’s first confirmed case. A man in his 40’s was confirmed as the second case over the weekend.
The La Salle County Health Department reminds all citizens to continue to practice social distancing, which includes staying at home, limiting the number of people you make contact with and maintaining a distance of six feet between each other. Also remember to wash your hands often.
