Family Video is permanently closing all stores nationwide, including their Princeton location. The announcement was made in a press release on Tuesday.
The video rental chain, also known for selling games and CBD products, has more than 250 remaining stores nationwide. The company says the final closures were in part due to a lack of business because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Liquidation sales have started and all stores will close February 28 or sooner if products sell out. This will end the company’s 43 year run of providing home entertainment in the upper Midwest, South and East.
