Perry Memorial Hospital and Cornerstone Community Wellness continue to team up to improve the well-being of those caring for dependent loved ones.
According to the Centers for Disease Control, family or friends who are the primary caregiver for a loved one are at an increased risk of negative mental, physical, and economic health consequences.
As our aging population grows, our communities can take a proactive approach through supportive community, resource sharing, and educational opportunities that highlight the positive aspects of caregiving and offer tips along the journey.
