WIU Board of Trustees to Hold Closed Meeting, April 30

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL — A meeting of the Western Illinois University Board of Trustees will be held via teleconferencing at 9 a.m. Thursday, April 30 in Sherman Hall 205.

The Board shall convene via roll call vote and then immediately move to closed session for the purpose of considering matters provided for in 5 ILCS 120/2c, including litigation, collective bargaining, personnel and review of closed session minutes. The complete agenda can be found at wiu.edu/bot. No business will be conducted during the open session of the meeting.

On March 16, 2020, Gov. J.B. Pritzker issued an executive order providing relief from some of the provisions of the Illinois Open Meetings Act 5 ILS 120 requiring or relating to in-person attendance by members of a public body are suspended.

The next regular meeting of the Board of Trustees is scheduled for May 6, 2020 via Zoom, beginning at 9 a.m. This meeting serves as the replacement for the March meeting that was cancelled. The session will be livestreamed on WIU’s YouTube channel (youtube.comWesternIllinoisU/). Additional information will be posted at wiu.edu/bot in accordance with the Open Meetings Act when the agenda is set.
