Spoon River College Extends Spring Break Through March 20

Because of concerns raised by the COVID-19 outbreak, Spring break at Spoon River College has been extended to March 20. According to a news release, the college will use the extra week to allow faculty and staff the time to move as many classes to an alternate delivery mode as quickly as possible. The college will remain open during the week in the absence of classes. The release states that this is not a “college closure” as the institution will remain open and operational with faculty, administration and staff working normal hours.
