The McDonough County Health Department has announced new cases of COVID-19. According to the health department, two new cases have been confirmed in each of the last two days. On Tuesday, it was a male in his 20’s. On Wednesday, a female in her 50’s was confirmed to have COVID-19. Breaking down the numbers fully from the McDonough County Health Department, there are 103 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the start of the outbreak. Of those 103 cases, 85 are considered recovered from COVID-19. 3 cases are considered to be active cases, those who are confirmed to have COVID-19 via testing and are not recovered. Finally, 16 people in McDonough County have died from COVID-19.
