Macomb City Council Committee of the Whole to Meet, by Teleconference, April 13

The Macomb City Council will meet as the Committee of the Whole Monday, April 13, at 5:15 p.m. The meeting will be conducted via teleconference, no media or members of the public will be allowed to attend in person, however they can watch and participate in the meeting via Zoom Video Communications.

Public Comment will be conducted as usual near the beginning of the meeting with the standard three (3) minute time limit. To ensure the public will be able to participate the city is providing three ways in which the public can submit their comments. The public will be asked to identify themselves if they connect to the Zoom meeting. 

Monday’s meeting will include a discussion on an ordinance to amend the city’s Municipal Code to expand taxicab service to include Transportation Network companies.

There will be a public hearing for the City of Macomb’s fiscal year 2020– 2021 budget, followed by a discussion on an ordinance to amend the City Fee Schedule increasing debt service fees for water service and increasing the water rate.

There will also be an update on the Complete Count Census.

Folks wishing to take part in the public comments portion of the meeting have three ways to do so, by using the Zoom app, by sending an e-mail to [email protected] no later than 3 p.m. Monday, or by snail mail.
