Four people were injured in a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon (April 18) in McDonough County, according to the Illinois State Police.
45-year old Charlotte Clark from Macomb and three minors were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, ISP reported.
According to the report, Clark was driving a 2002 Honda Accord west on 1500 North near 1100 East in McDonough County when the vehicle left the roadway, causing Clark to lose control of the vehicle on the gravel shoulder, crossing both lanes of travel and going into the ditch on the south side of the road. The car rolled over several times before coming to rest on the roadway.
Clark and one of her passengers were ejected from the vehicle. She was transported to a hospital by helicopter. Her passengers, a six-year old female, a 15-year old male and a 17-year old male, were taken by ambulance.
The roadway was closed for about an hour because of the crash. Neither Clark nor at least one of the juvenile passengers were wearing seatbelts.
According to ISP, charges are pending and the investigation continues.
