Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White announced some great news and a relief for those with expiring drivers licences, plates and stickers.
Henry Haupt, media relations press secretary for White’s office shared that information. The state vehicles services offices have been closed since March and reopened on June 2nd. With so many possibly out of work due to COVID-19, Secretary White and his office wanted to provide some relief for those affected. Those with expiring drivers license, plates or stickers from March 2020 now have until November 1st to renew.
Mr. Haupt also noted that driving test are being conducted again, with all consideration to keep the tester and the driver safe. Facility days and hours are back to normal operation.

Another point Mr. Haupt noted is The Macomb vehicle services facility, located at 466 Deer Rd, is temporarily closed due to some structural damage at least for the rest of this week and may reopen next week.
