The City of Sterling’s contractor will be closing the Lynn Boulevard access to the Lynn Boulevard and Lefevre Road intersection the week of April 20, 2020 to begin work at the intersection of the two roads and complete resurfacing on Lynn Boulevard from Lefevre to 11th Street. No north bound or south bound traffic will be allowed to approach the intersection.
Due to the limited access to alternate routes on the west end of the City, trucks needing access to the area west of Lynn should utilize McCue Road via Science Ridge Road or the former Route 2. Limited through access on Lefevre will be maintained for most of the project, though the intersection will be closed entirely in late summer for final paving.
Due to construction, the multi-use path from Lynn Boulevard to the Westwood area will also experience a temporary disruption for the summer. The connection will be restored as part of the project.
For the safety of the workers, please avoid the intersection by using alternative travel plans and give yourself extra time to access destinations requiring travel down Lefevre Road at the Lynn Boulevard intersection.
