On Sunday, April 11th, at approximately 10:10 p.m., an Illinois State Police Trooper responded to an Illinois State Police Emergency Radio Network broadcast reference a reckless driver on Interstate 88 westbound milepost 26, in Whiteside County. The Trooper located the motor vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. During the traffic stop, the Trooper learned the driving privileges of the driver, Divia C. Greer, a 21-year old female of Chicago, IL, were suspended.
The Trooper also learned the rear seat passenger, Robert L. McGill, a 37-year old male of Iowa City, IA, was not wearing his seatbelt, improperly transporting alcohol and wanted on a warrant. Greer was arrested and charged with Driving While License Suspended. She was issued written warnings for Improper Use of left Lane and Improper Lane Usage. Greer was released on a recognizance bond and issued a future court date. McGill was arrested and charged with Wanted on Warrant and issued a notice to appear. He was issued a citation for Improper Transportation of Alcohol by a Passenger and a written warning for Failure to wear Seatbelt (Passenger).
On Tuesday, April 13th, at approximately 8:49 p.m., an Illinois State Police Trooper stopped to assist the driver of a motor vehicle on Interstate 88 eastbound milepost 23, in Whiteside County. During the motorist assist, the Trooper learned the driving privileges of the driver, Dustin A. Manon, a 34-year old male of Rock Falls, IL, were revoked. Manon was arrested and charged with Driving While License Revoked. He was released on a recognizance bond and issued a future court date.
