U2’s The Edge & other Irish artists encourage you to #UniteByStayingApart in new PSA

U2 guitarist The Edge is among a whole host of Irish musicians preaching social distancing in a new PSA, organized by One Direction‘s Niall Horan.

The video, which was created to supprt Ireland’s #UniteByStayingApart campaign, finds The Edge, Horan and such of Irish music artists as Hozier, Andrea Corr and Imelda May, speaking about the importance of staying home to help minimize the spread of COVID-19.

In the background of the video, you can also hear the U2 classic “Where the Streets Have No Name” playing.

“As musicians, we would say this is a great time for you to maybe learn an instrument, write a song, write a poem, or listen to some of your favorite music,” the Irish stars say.

“But above all,” they add. “We ask that you stay inside.”
