The fourth annual Love Rocks NYC! benefit concert, taking place tonight at the Beacon Theatre in New York, will now be held under “a restricted attendance policy” due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
That is, the only people allowed to attend the show will be essential artist personnel, event staff, credentialed members of the media and immediate family of the performers.
Because of the situation, the event’s organizers have decided to make the concert available as a free livestream starting at 8 p.m. ET at Relix.com/live.
As previously reported, the lineup for this year’s Love Rocks NYC! Concert includes Jackson Browne, The Black Crowes‘ Chris and Rich Robinson, Dave Matthews, ex-Allman Brothers Band member Warren Haynes, Cyndi Lauper, Macy Gray, Marc Cohn, former Fabulous Thunderbirds guitarist Jimmie Vaughan, Joss Stone, Leon Bridges and many more.
The event will be co-hosted by Paul Shaffer.
The concert raises money for the God’s Love We Deliver charity, which provides nutritious meals to seriously ill people in the New York City area.
