Santana cancels May residency at Las Vegas’ House of Blues

After recently pulling the plug on a spring European tour because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Santana has now canceled his eight-show May 2020 residency at the House of Blues in Las Vegas.

The concerts were to have taken place on May 13, 15, 16, 17, 20, 22, 23 and 24. People who purchased tickets can get refunds from the original point of purchase. Visit for more information.

“On behalf of Carlos and the entire Santana Organization, I would like to thank you all for your continued support,” says Michael Vrionis, president of the group’s Universal Tone Management company. “We are all in this together and we will come out of this stronger than ever. We look forward to seeing you all soon and bringing the music of Santana back to Las Vegas soon.”

The band still has two upcoming series of Las Vegas concerts at the House of Blues, scheduled in September and November. Carlos and company also are slated to launch the Miraculous Supernatural 2020 Tour, a lengthy joint North American summer trek with Earth, Wind & Fire, on June 19 in Chula Vista, California, although it remains to be seen of the trek will go forward as planned.
