12-part Bob Marley documentary series debuts on YouTube; new ‘Iron Lion Zion’ EP out now

The celebration of Bob Marley‘s 75th birthday continues with the debut of a 12-part documentary series on YouTube.

Bob Marley: Legacy features interviews with the late reggae legend’s family, friends and fans, intercut with Marley’s music, as well as remixes and cover versions.  The first episode, “75 Years a Legend,” is now available on the official Bob Marley YouTube page.

Meanwhile, a new EP, Iron Lion Zion, is now available. It features the seven-inch and 12-inch single versions of the song “Iron Lion Zion,” a Marley song recorded in the seventies that was first released in 1992 on the box set Songs of Freedom. A remix, two dub mixes and the song’s B-side, “Smile Jamaica,” round out the package.
Marley’s sons Ziggy and Stephen will do a series of shows in May and August, performing their father’s songs in celebration of his 75th birthday.
