The Killers have a bit of good news and a bit of bad news.
The good news is that Brandon Flowers and company have released a new single, called “Fire in Bone,” which you can download now via digital outlets. The bad news is that the group’s upcoming record, Imploding the Mirage, has been pushed back due to “delays in finalizing the album.”
Imploding the Mirage, which also features the lead single “Caution,” was originally due out May 29. A new release date will be unveiled “in the coming weeks,” a press release promises.
Meanwhile, The Killers have announced rescheduled dates for their U.K. and Ireland tour, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The trek, which had been scheduled to begin this May, has been moved to May and June of 2021.
The Killers are still scheduled to launch a U.S. tour in August.
If you have any questions for The Killers about the tour or their new music, the band members are holding a live Q&A on their Instagram this afternoon at 3 p.m. ET.
