The Airborne Toxic Event frontman Mikel Jollett is putting out a new book called Hollywood Park next month, and he planned to embark on a tour to talk about it. Of course, that and pretty much every other live event has been either canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so Jollett is taking the tour online.
Starting May 1, Jollett will take part in a series of virtual events hosted by book stores across the country. During each “stop,” he’ll answer questions about Hollywood Park, and will perform a few songs.
Tickets purchased will benefit local independent book stores, and include a signed copy of Hollywood Park. For the full list of events, visit TheAirborneToxicEvent.com/Book.
Hollywood Park will be released May 26. It’ll be accompanied by a new Airborne Toxic Event album of the same name, due out May 22.
