Noel Gallagher shares unreleased Oasis demo; Liam Gallagher responds

The Gallagher brothers are at it again, but at least there’s actual music involved this time.

This week, Noel Gallagher announced that he had unearthed a demo of a previously unreleased Oasissong, “Don’t Stop…”

“Like the rest of the world I’ve had infinite time to kill lately so I thought I’d FINALLY look and fund out what was actually on the HUNDREDS of faceless unmarked CDs I’ve got lying around in boxes at home,” Noel tweeted. “As fate would have it I have stumbled across an old demo which I thought had been lost forever.”

The release of the recording, of course, drew a reaction from Noel’s estranged brother and former Oasis band mate, Liam Gallagher, who is not featured on the demo.

“Well there’s something missing in this god almighty stew and it’s your brother your brother don’t forget your brother,” Liam tweeted.

Veering from his usual insult of choice — that would be “potato” — Liam also called Noel “tofu boy” and declared that any old Oasis demos that don’t feature him on vocals or Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs on guitar are “not worth a wank.”

If you’re uninterested in the drama and just want to hear the music, you can download “Don’t Stop…” now via digital outlets.
