Metallica launches Vinyl Club subscription service

Need more Metallica vinyl in your life? Today’s your lucky day.

The metal legends have announced the Metallica Vinyl Club, a subscription service offering rarities, demos, live tracks and rough mixes on wax for the first time.

“As huge music fans ourselves, it’s been super exciting to see the resurgence of vinyl and how much enjoyment we all get collecting, exploring and connecting with other fans mining for lost treasures,” Metallica says.

“Those of us who love the look, feel and sonic warmth of vinyl are sorta in our little exclusive club,” the band adds. “So with that in mind we thought it would be fun to start adding to our collections on a regular basis.”

Subscribers to the 2020 Vinyl Club will receive four seven-inch vinyl singles over the next year, as well as additional memorabilia and a “personalized membership card.”

To sign up, you first need to be a member of Metallica’s Fifth Member fan club, and then you can then subscribe to the Vinyl Club. Subscriptions are open now through March 31 via
