Bush has announced a new album, with a new title.
The eighth studio effort from the “Glycerine” rockers is called The Kingdom, and will arrive in May. Frontman Gavin Rossdale had previously said that the record would be called The Mind Plays Tricks on You.
“We are really proud of The Kingdom,” Rossdale now says. “It’s as if all roads traveled over the last few years have gotten us to this point. We look forward to this cycle — old fans, new fans, like-minded people who are searching for their kingdom.”
The first single from The Kingdom is called “Flowers on a Grave.” The track will be officially released on Wednesday, but you can listen to it now streaming on YouTube.
In support of The Kingdom, Bush will travel the U.S. on a tour with Breaking Benjamin. The extensive summer trek, which will also feature Theory of a Deadman and Saint Asonia on the bill, kicks off July 15 in Bristow, Virginia, and stretches into September.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 6 at 10 a.m. local time. Visit BushOfficial.com for the full list of dates and all ticket info.
