Billie Eilish reveals songs that inspired ‘WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP’ hits

Billie Eilish has revealed which songs were among the biggest influences on the hits from her giant debut album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?

On her Instagram Story, Eilish shared playlists of tracks that inspired singles such as “bad guy” and “bury a friend.”

“Bad guy,” for example, was influenced by songs including “Home” by morgxn, “Dang!” by Mac Miller and “YuNg BrAtZ” by XXXTentacion, while “bury a friend” took notes from Kanye West‘s “Black Skinhead” and “Garbage” by Tyler, the Creator.

Eilish, like pretty much every artist, is off the road after her tour was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, you can watch her on two upcoming TV specials, during which she’ll be performing from her home: Fox’s iHeart Living Room Concert for America on Sunday, March 29, and CBS’ Homefest: James Corden’s Late Late Show Special on Monday, March 30.
