As the calendar turns to May, Brownfield meteorologist Greg Soulje says farmers can expect rain and wide-ranging temperatures across the Midwest.
He says the northern corn belt will be hit with some cooler
“Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana and Ohio will be the focal point of this cool to cold air. I wouldn’t be surprised if we have some frost and freeze concerns even at this late calendar day.”
He says there are two weather systems moving through in the
next 3-5 days each carrying up to an inch of rain, which is normal for this
time of year.
